A THUNDERBOLT from Sam Barker helped seal Shildon a play-off spot as they beat fellow promotion hopefuls Cleethorpes.
Barker cut inside his marker midway through the first half before arrowing his shot from the edge of the box into the top corner.
Shaun Newbrook preserved the advantage with good stops from Brody Robertson and Jack McMenemy, while Luke Lofts had appeals for a penalty waved away, before Dean Thexton doubled Shildon’s lead with a spot-kick of his own four minutes after the break.
