■ WISBECH couldn’t follow up last week’s vital win at Histon with a similar result at home to potential champions Chasetown, but the scoreline fl attered the visitors.
Jack Langston gave Chasetown the lead after 25 minutes, the only goal of an otherwise even fi rst half.
After the break, the Fenmen came at the visitors and forced Curtis Pond into a couple of saves, but the Scholars defence stood fi rm.
