■ JACK Dixon, Danny Parish and Kenny Pogue all scored on an emotional day where Hastings United beat VCD Athletic and lifted the Isthmian League South East Division cup.
Captain Dixon opened the scoring in the sixth minute when a perfect header from Tom Chalmers allowed Dixon to head home from close.
Knory Scott was then brought down in the box after a perfect through ball, with Parish keeping his cool to put the hosts 2-0 up from the spot.
