LEISTON and Peterborough played out a goalless draw on the final league match of the season which saw the Suffolk side finish seventh and Sports claim home advantage in the play-offs.
Leiston nearly took the lead on five minutes when Peterborough keeper Peter Crook’s clearance went over his head but Will Davies effort was well blocked at close range.
Adam Mills, after a long kick by Sam Donkin, got in behind the away defence but hooked his effort onto the roof of Crook’s net.
