STAMFORD clinched second place in the league and a home tie in the playoffs with a three-goal rout over Carlton. The Daniels opened the scoring through Tendai Chitizas surging run and shot which deflected and looped over Rowley.
Harry Vince hit a post from a superb pull back from Cosmos Matwasa but it wasn’t long before he scored. Jon Margetts was fouled 20 yards out and Vince hit a low drive that bounced over Rowley.
