■ CORINTHIAN scored a goal in each half to seal victory as a season of promise completely fizzled out for Sittingbourne.
It was true end-of-season affair and the first half was brought to life only when Toby Bancroft blocked a clearance by the Corinthian keeper only for the ball to bounce to safety off the top of the crossbar.
The visitors took full advantage as Josh Stirman turned the ball home to open the scoring. It was a lead that Sittingbourne rarely threatened to overturn in a tame display after half-time.
