■ TWO first-half Youssef Bamba goals gave VCD Athletic victory at Haywards Heath, consigning the Blues to an away play-off tie at Herne Bay on Tuesday night.
In the third minute, Vickers’ top scorer Bamba nicked the ball off Jordy Ndozid near the halfway line with the striker rounding goalkeeper Billy Collings and slotting into the net from inside the area.
Some 15 minutes later Bamba slammed a sumptuous 25-yard free-kick into the top left corner to make it 2-0 going into half-time.
