KEMPSTON needed a nervy penalty shoot-out to maintain their United Counties League status.
Having led at half-time, they were overhauled by when Eccleshill struck twice in five early second-half minutes before the hosts levelled again.
And a brace of shootout saves from Kempston keeper Joe Ringer decided the day.
The Walnuts had a great chance on 15 minutes. Sam Johnson was put through but his pass evaded Ben Baker.
