BASINGSTOKE Town say they are consulting lawyers after hopes of returning to their former Camrose ground suffered a devastating blow. Plans for 85 dwellings and a care home have been agreed by the council.
A club statement read: “The club this morning disappointingly learnt that Basron’s planning permission to build housing and a care home on the historic site of The Camrose has been granted by The National Planning Inspectorate.
