DAVE Challinor spent a decade inching his way up the pyramid. Now, the 46-yearold doesn’t intend to hang about.
Stockport County’s 2-0 victory over FC Halifax last Sunday clinched the National League title and, with it, a sixth career promotion for the former Tranmere Rovers defender. Already, he is hungry for another.
“Why not?” says the Liverpudlian, whose CV includes promotions at Colwyn Bay, AFC Fylde and, last season, a maiden ascent to the EFL with Hartlepool United.
