ANDY PREECE’S first team squad returned to action after the summer break and gave as good as they got against League One Bolton Wanderers, in front of over 3,000 fans at Victory Park.
Dion Charles and Jón Daði Böðvarsson scored at either end of a first half that was dominated by the visitors.
Ollie Shenton went closest for the home side with a dipping volley that Man City loanee James Trafford did well to tip over.
