GRIGGS EXITS THE MAGPIES

AFTER leading Anglian Combination champions Heacham to promotion to the Eastern Counties Division One North, David Griggs has quit as joint manager.
Under Griggs, Heacham won seven successive promotions, with Sean
McQuaid and Ross McNeil also part of the title-winning management team last season.
Griggs said: “I’ve had seven wonderful seasons and made some great memories that I will always remember. I’d like to think I’m leaving the club in a fantastic position and in great hands.”
