HEREFORD ran out convincing winners at Hellenic League Premier side Malvern Town, manager Josh Gowling taking the opportunity to run the rule over a number of trialists.
Six were named in the starting line-up and two made the scoresheet, opening the scoring on two minutes and then doubling the lead on 16 minutes following a rapid break upfield.
Another of Hereford’s trialists was twice denied by Keiron Blackburn in the Malvern goal before Joe Bullock and Joe Bates went close for the hosts.
