■ DESPITE the sweltering conditions, the teams produced an entertaining encounter played at an impressive frenetic pace.
The League One side shaded the first period and took the lead with a stunning 20 yard effort ; Ash Hunter finding space before rifling an unstoppable thunderbolt past Harry Tyrer.
Chester became more of an offensive threat in the second period and registered a deserved equalised through skipper Declan Weeks, latching onto a through bell from teenager Harrison Burke to score from 10 yards.
