HENDON won the Allinson family derby as son Lee’s team beat dad Ian’s St Albans City with an early solitary goal.
It came in the third minute when Isaac Galliford smashed a 25-yard shot past Michael Johnson.
Marcin Brzozowski made a handful of excellent saves, denying Shaun Jeffers and Mitchell Weiss twice each, among others.
In the second half, Saints were frequently thwarted by Brzozowski, while Chez Isaac Sam Johnson.
