THE now annual pre-season match between these Step 2 big guns from North and South tends to be a tight, competitive affair, and this would prove no different as the sides battled out a hard-fought draw.
Both goals came in the first half with Lewis Coyle’s fine curling effort from the edge of the box into the top corner putting Oxford City in front, before Wes York headed Brackley’s leveller right on half-time from Fabio Lopez’s cross.
