STEP 6 new boys Coton Green have pulled off something of a coup by signing vastly experienced striker Matty Gardner.
The 37-year-old has joined the Midland League Division One side after a successful trial which saw him score six goals in three pre-season matches.
Much-travelled Gardner has Since then, he has had spells at Sporting Khalsa and Stourbecome something of a local fans’ favourite after winning the Midland Football Alliance Golden Boot with Coalville Town in 2009-10.
