HAWKS AND SHOTS CAN’T FIND FINISH

BOTH teams were playing their final pre-season fixture before next Saturday’s big kick-off but it was the hosts who enjoyed much the better of this goalless but entertaining friendly.
The Hawks looked the more energetic in the strength-sapping heat, with both James Roberts and Jason Prior having goalbound efforts saved by Shots stopper Luca Ashby-Hammond.
