AFC Mansfield snatched victory in the very last minute with a breakaway attack finished smartly by Sam Ackroyd from close in.
It completed a smash-andgrab raid as Corby enjoyed the vast majority of possession but they could not find the elusive target despite numerous chances.
Curtis Hartley saw his fierce strike well held by Mansfield keeper Hugo Warhurst, while Tristan Thompson-Matthews’ shot rebounded to safety off the post with Warhurst stranded.
Ackroyd twice went close for Mansfield as the visitors threatened on the counter.
