STEVE SMITH says Bishop’s Stortford can’t dine out on last season anymore – but he’s convinced the players are hungry to be in the promotion mix again.
The Blues enjoyed a memorable campaign last term as they finished second behind Worthing in the Isthmian Premier and set club records of 12 clean sheets on the bounce.
But extra-time defeat to Cheshunt in the play-off semi-final saw Smith’s side miss out on promotion back to Step 2.
