WELL, here we are again: the start of the football season (not that I’ve had a break from football since the last one ended, to be honest)!
I choose newcomers to the North West Counties League, First Division South:
Stockport Georgians for my tenth match already of the new season.
Jane SatNav then has one of her crazy afternoons. She refuses to take me and The Fox anywhere near the postcode for Cromley Road – home of Georgians – and it takes an age to find the ground. I finally park up in the large car park at about 2.00pm.
