Gateshead 2-2 Barnet: Heed happy at home but Bees fail to capitalise

GATESHEAD won 18 of their 21 home games on their way to the National League North title but on their return to the top division had to settle for a point against Barnet.
The National League new boys have opened the campaign with two 2-2 draws, two up at Dagenham on the opening day, two down at half-time against the Bees.
Given a 17-4 count in their favour on goal attempts there was still a sense of frustration after the Heed stormed back in a dominant second half display.
