HORNCHURCH sealed victory with early and late goals against ten-man Hastings, who arrived late and never recovered from some disastrous early minutes.
The Us were a man down for all but five minutes of the afternoon, Finn O’Mara seeing red when he handled Sam Higgins’ powerful header after it beat Us keeper Louis Rogers.
Tom Wraight made no mistake from the spot. And less than five minutes later, Higgins was brought down 20 yards out and thumped the resulting free-kick into the corner of the net.
