WORKSOP TOWN progressed thanks to an easy win at local rivals AFC Mansfield.
The Tigers started on the front foot, forcing Bulls’ keeper Hugo Warhurst into several early saves.
They went ahead after 16 minutes, when Liam Hardy powered home Jay Rollins’ cross at the back post.
Hardy then added a second two minutes later, lobbing Warhurst from the edge of the area. The Tigers limited the Bulls to minimal chances, before Liam Hughes headed Town into a three-goal lead after 49 minutes, connecting with Paul Green’s lofted free-kick.
