 ■ ALOUIS JOHNSON hat-trick, alongside Wayne Whitfield and Dale Elgie goals, helped Bishop Auckland emphatically secure a place in September’s first qualifying round.
Johnson opened the scoring when he swept home a 14th-minute cut-back before Whitfield converted at the second attempt to double the advantage on the half hour.
The Two Blues’ third, and Johnson’s second, followed as he finished from a narrow angle after rounding goalkeeper Ben Wilcock.
