THIS local derby had much to offer but in the end provided little sparkle other than a Dan Wishart 35-yard free-kick that is sure to be in contention for goal of the season.
Cole Brown opened the scoring for Hayes and Yeading after 21 minutes, firing home after a cheeky back-heel as Moses Emmanuel put him in on goal.
The scores were level after 34 minutes. With claims for handball and a foul, Nathan Minhas got the better of Charlie Wassmer on the edge of the box and calmly slotted home for Beaconsfield.
