LEATHERHEAD earned their first points of the season by beating Thatcham.
After an even 30 minutes, Dave Tarpey’s 30-yard freekick produced a save from Jack Hopwood. The visitors took the lead a minute later as Elliott Buchanan helped Briggs Ojemon’s ball forward and Joshua Webb fired home.
After the break, Thatcham started to dominate, with Javin Dougan, Ben Cook and Joshua Edwards just off target.
