ARE lost their unbeaten Wleague record against a fast and skilful Waltham Abbey who outplayed them to record a comprehensive win.
The game might have been over by half-time but Abbey missed a number of clear-cut chances and were ahead only thanks to Acea Laurent’s freekick after 25 minutes. It found the top corner of Fred Burbidge’s net with the keeper hardly moving.
Yet it was Burbidge who kept Ware in the game with point-blank saves wither side of half-time.
