EPHRON Mason-Clark says there was no doubt in his mind Peterborough United are the perfect club to launch his EFL career.

The England C forward has joined the League One Posh from boyhood Barnet. He joined the Bees at the age of ten and grew into a first team star.

In total, the attacker played 185 times for the National League outfit and scored 22 goals.

His all-action game persuaded Peterborough to pay an undisclosed fee for the 23-year-old, who was in the final year of his contract.

Posh’s new No.10 said: “When I heard of the interest and spoke to the manager, I knew this was the right place for me.

“I have been at Barnet since the age of ten, so a long time, and I have played a lot of games, so I felt it was the right time for the next challenge and I can’t wait to get started.”

Peterborough boss Grant Mc-Cann said: “He has been our main target for a number of weeks and I am pleased we have been able to make it happen.”
