LIAM Tongue’s decisive touch in the second half settled a close encounter in Hyde’s favour.
He was alert enough to jab a boot at the ball after Warrington Town failed to clear from a setpiece, sending the Tigers through to the third qualifying round for the first time since 2017.
Curiously, they eliminated the Yellows at the same stage during that campaign too and went on to reach the first round proper where they met MK Dons in front of the television cameras.
