THE Rams picked up a deserved three points thanks to first-half goals from Jamie Coyle and Theo Osinfolarin.
Both sides struggled to adapt to the cold weather as the game got off to a slow start.
The home side took a deserved lead after great work on the left with Coyle firing home in the 31st minute.
The Rams doubled their lead with a penalty on the stroke of half-time, Theo Osinfolarin making sure with a cool finish.
