Whits end their wait for first win

WHITBY TOWN got their long awaited first win of the season with a strong win away at Nantwich Town.
Whitby debutant Jacob Day had the chance to shoot at goal early on but Jon Moran blocked brilliantly.
The visitors had started sharper and took the lead ten minutes in. Their aggressive press paid off as Malik Dijksteel turned his man and fired into the bottom corner, a good finish for a deserved lead.
