A STRING of key saves from Dean Snedker and some admirable endeavour ensured AFC Rushden & Diamonds stopped the rot with a maiden win for the campaign.
Going into the fixture on the back of three successive defeats and seven games without victory, some early threat from Canaries’ forward Tiago Nassunculo may well have put some jitters amongst the travelling support, who had their goalkeeper to thank for being equal to the fierce tenth-minute strike.
