CARVELL IS CRUSHER OF LANCASTER’S WIN HOPES

LANCASTER are still winless this season after they were denied by a late Belper equaliser.
Lancaster led on two minutes when Brad Carroll flicked home Brad Hubbold’s corner.
It was almost two-nil on 17 minutes when Belper keeper Daniel Moore was dispossessed outside his penalty area and Dale Whitham’s shot was deflected onto the post.
Belper looked lively but were finding it difficult to make much impression on Lancaster’s defence.
And the hosts created two half chances with Henri Ogunby and Kyle Brownhill...
