BINFIELD were indebted to ex-Hendon keeper Chris Grace, as his save clinched the penalty shoot-out, after his side missed a spot-kick in normal time.
Binfield almost led on two minutes, but Hendon’s current custodian Marcin Brzozowski made a fabulous near-post save from Bradley Pagliaroli.
On the half-hour, Grace saved well from long-range efforts by Rhodell Gordon and Liam Brooks.
And Pagliaroli’s low cross eluded everyone in the box and went just wide.
