A WELL-TAKEN goal just after the hour mark from Lewes wide-man Deon Moore was enough to see the Rooks into the next round of the FA Trophy in a well-matched tie at The Dripping Pan.
The visitors almost took the lead in the first few seconds of the game with a move that sliced through the Lewes defence, with Lewis Carey alert to make a good save. The Rooks debutant Jamie Mascoll saw plenty of possession down the left-hand side and it was his contribution that led to a Razz Coleman De-Graft shot that curled just wide of the post.
