■This was a game that lacked any real passages of quality play from either team.
The game was particularly summed by Khalsa’s first goal in the eighth minute when Josh Mckenzie netted from half a yard out after a point blank range save.
Both teams huffed and puffed but really struggled to create anything. Cambridge equalised through Jake Battersby four minutes before half-time.
