REID MAKES BRAVE BAS WEAP WITH A WINNER

SOLIHULL Moors ended Basford’s brave FA Cup run thanks to a second half Alex Reid strike.
The National League side dominated the opening period but could not find a way past excellent Basford keeper Kieran Preston who kept the visitors in contention with a string of fine saves.
Ryan Barnett had an early effort parried away with Reid putting the rebound over the bar and he pulled off more decent saves to deny Barnett, Reid and Joe Sbarra before the break with Josh Kelly putting his swirling 25-yard free-kick just over the bar...
