THIS was the first meeting for Hanwell against former Conference South side Gosport Borough.
It promised much after seven minutes with each side scoring goals from shots outside the area.
Dan Rowe cut in form the left and bent the ball past O’Flahery and within a minute, Harvey Rew, from a straighter angle scored an equaliser past Hugo Sobte.
Gosport forced a smart save from Sobte, but it was Hanwell who retook the lead when Dan Carr played a direct ball straight through the Gosport defence for Kain Adom to calmly dink it over ...
