BEN Brookes scored one and made another as Hashtag inflicted a first defeat of the season on Heybridge Swifts as they moved into the top four.
Brookes, in just his second start of the season, didn’t take long to make an impression, providing an 11th minute cross for Matt Wooldridge to head back across goal for Jermaine Francis to get the final touch in a crowded area.
Rob Harvey had Swifts’ best chance of the half, but they were 2-0 down when Brookes’ corner, helped by the strong wind flew into the far corner.
