LIGHTS SWITCH ON FOR BRIGHT FUTURE

I’VE had some incredible experiences in my 50 years as a Non-League football devotee but something completely different happened a couple of weeks ago.
I was tickled pink to be invited to perform the official opening ceremony in switching on the new floodlights at Nailsea & Tickenham FC.
With a microphone in my hand, I was delighted to count down from 10 to one before the Fryth Way ground became illuminated for the very first time. A real honour for me and it was a great night for the ‘Swags’ who are newly promoted to the Western League Division ...
