LEEK progressed with a hard fought victory over a strong Worksop Town –but it was not without some early controversy. The visitors ‘scored’ in the first minute, Jay Rollins firing past Roberts in the Leek goal, but the ball rebounded back out after hitting the wheel arch just inside the post of the moveable goals – but no goal was given by the officials with play was allowed to continue with the Worksop players appealing in vain.
