Brilliant Brig end Colls jinx in style

BAMBER Bridge put previous disappointments at Atherton to one side by notching an impressive victory.
In recent years, it hasn’t been a happy hunting ground for Brig, but they were quick to challenge the history books and applied an intense opening spell of pressure.
It paid off on 17 minutes. Fin Sinclair-Smith produced a moment of quality with a curled effort into the top corner, before Jamie Milligan reverted to a more defensive approach for the visitors.
