VOWLES’ SCORCHER SEALS IT FOR TIVVY

HARTLEY Wintney came away from Devon pointless after losing to a Lucas Vowles thunderbolt in the 76th minute.
The opening half saw the two teams cancel each other out in a scrappy affair. The best chances for the home side fell to Matt Britton but Rows keeper Adam Debois saved well to his left from a shot just outside the box. Then Joe O’Louglhin, Tivvy’s marauding wing back, had a powerful shot again just outside the box but Tivvy failed to test the keeper.
