IT WAS a stereotypical game of two halves as the points were shared at Ingfield.
The visitors had the better of the opening half and took the lead from a deep corner that was headed home by Callum Foster.
Ossett went close minutes later as Danny Burns saw a header go wide. Lincoln ended the half on top but failed to add to their lead.
Ossett were a different side in the second half and controlled the game for much of the 45 minutes.
