CAMBRIDGE CITY recorded a welcome victory as they overcame the challenge of Loughborough Dynamo at Bridge Road.
Tom Waumsley and Daniel Cotton, signed from Stamford and Yaxley, marked their league debuts for City by scoring both of their goals.
Waumsley was on hand to give City the lead on 19 minutes when he pounced on a rebound.
Loughborough had to wait until the 72nd minute to pull level. Kevin Bastos won a spot kick and converted for the equaliser. The winner for City came four minutes from time when Cotton fired home what proved to be the decisive...
