JAKE LOVATT’S tenth goal of the season rescued a point for Newcastle Town in a tense draw with Glossop North End.
The hosts enjoyed early dominance, with a goal ruled out as no one made contact with Kyle Stubbs’ throw-in, which travelled all the way into the net.
Newcastle’s newly loaned keeper Owen Mooney made some brave stops before the break, but Glossop broke the deadlock soon after the restart through James Askey’s own goal.
