DENZEL Gray hit a second half equaliser as the points were shared in a physical encounter in South London.
The tone was set as early as the 10th minute when Town’s Dion Jarvis saw yellow for a late challenge on Dan Bennett – the first of three first-half bookings for the visitors.
Valley took the lead shortly after when Hassan Ibrahiym’s low drive from the edge of the area beat James Binfield, but Town hit back with goals from Lucas Pattenden and Josh Short within an eight-minute spell.
