WALTHAM Abbey edged five-goal thriller to secure the points at neighbours Hertford Town.
There were chances for both sides in a frantic first half and the Abbots went into the break twoone up after capitalizing on two goalkeeping errors either side of a Darnell Baxter-Alleyne strike for Hertford Town.
A second goal for Richard Asamoah shortly after the restart put the vis itors two goals in front but Hertford mounted a spirited fightback.
Obi Ogbonna pulled one back for the Blues but Waltham Abbey dug in and bravely held on to take the points.
