CHESTERFIELD remained in touch with National League pacesetters Notts County and Wrexham as they produced a five-star display to defeat struggling Torquay United.
But it was a pre-FA Cup headache for Torquay boss Gary Johnson, who takes his team to Derby County this week with plenty of thinking to do.
Jamie Grimes fired the visitors into an eighth minute lead, only for Dillon De Silva to level.
